Introduction of CA’s committees |
| Current Affairs Committee |
|
The committee is responsible for discussing environmental policies
and action plans of the Government. It also provides analysis and
response towards current environmental issues in local districts to
help stakeholders fully consider the environmental factors of the
issues, and set up sustainable plans accordingly. |
| Fundraising Committee |
|
The committee is responsible for designing yearly fundraising plans.
The committee would initiate new and tailored fundraising projects
by analysing different fundraising events in the community, in order
to raise funds and resources for CA’s conservation programmes. |
|
Membership & Branding Committee |
|
The committee is responsible for producing membership policies and
brand building strategies. It would review yearly membership affairs
and brand strategies in order to introduce new plans, which cater
for CA’s objectives as well as the marketing trend and build up the
recognition among the public and members. |

Energy Committee |
|
The committee is responsible for analysing Hong Kong’s energy
policies so as to provide the best advice for the Current Affairs
Committee to respond to the public accordingly. The committee would
also explore and advocate energy-saving and low-carbon programs in
the community to enhance public awareness and effectiveness of
saving energy. |

China Committee |
|
The committee is responsible for promoting CA’s conservation
projects in the mainland. Although Hong Kong’s resources are
limited, there are many kind-hearted people and organisations
supporting our conservation work in the mainland and many are in
need of financial aid and worth our support. The committee would
explore the opportunities for developing these projects. |

Conservation Committee |
|
The committee is responsible for setting up plans for CA’s
conservation projects. The committee would promote conservation
projects in the community according to specific annual themes such
as green farming, tree conservation and wetland conservation, etc.
in order to get the general public and stakeholders involved in
environmental conservation. |
